Smarter scheduling with LogiX

The scheduling algorithm that underlies the LogiX routing and scheduling software from DPS is said to have been rewritten completely for the release of the latest version, LogiX.

The company says it has improved the user interface, providing more information on the status of routes and orders. Enhancements also include new parameters for the start, turnround and end times at depots; new status levels designed for real time re-scheduling; and better visibility of order and route warnings.

QuickAddress 6 integration is now provided, offering better display and search capability. There is also an improved matrix capability for building street-level maps, with the ability to display individual maps for each call.
