Retail Fulfilment Services flourishes in Wetherby
A fulfilment business called etail Fulfilment Solutions has been set up at Thorp Arch Estate, Wetherby. It offers the full gamut of multi-channel solutions, including payment processing, call centre management, storage, pick and pack, plus home delivery via carriers. It will also take on collation, package assembly and kitting work. Behind the venture is Mark Hepworth, who was formerly managing director of Two-Ten Communications, a fulfilment business operating for many years on the same trading estate at Wetherby. Two-Ten was originally owned by the Press Association, but was sold in the mid-2000s to Capita group, which has now closed down the site. Hepworth told F&E that demand in the sector remained buoyant, adding that Wetherby was a good location for fulfilment, with plenty of expansion space.
