Courier targets eBay sellers with eTrader-based delivery system
Courier targets eBay sellers with eTrader-based delivery system

eBay sellers and small businesses in the Yorkshire area now have a new door-to-door delivery service at their disposal, courtesy of two complementary services.

These are being supplied by APC Overnight, the nationwide parcels delivery network, and NetDespatch, the online despatch management specialist. Harnessing them is Courier Logistics, a Yorkshire-based business, which is using them to support a new web-based delivery service.

Customers needing a one-off parcel delivery simply log on to the Courier Logistics web site, which uses the NetDespatch Velocity eTrader system for pricing and booking of doorstep collections. There is no need for an account, and they can pay either using PayPal or with a standard credit or debit card.

The service feeds the consignment through the APC network, providing an end-to-end delivery service. Users can also price their consignments, ensuring that they charge their own customers appropriately for delivery.

eTrader is part of the NetDespatch Velocity 'on demand' applications platform, and is one of a range of NetDespatch web services available to courier and distribution companies.
