'Boxed package' look for Exact Abacus's graduated e-commerce suite
'Boxed package' look for Exact Abacus's graduated e-commerce suite

In a striking move to promote the accessibility and usability of its products – and also their affordability – multi-channel software developer Exact Abacus has developed a 'boxed package' range of e-commerce products. They are derived from the hosted version of its existing 3EX.NET e-commerce suite.

Even the entry-level version, at £99 a month, is said to offer everything needed to start and run a content-managed web site. Next comes Lite, which is said to include a comprehensive shopping cart and web site tools for £249 a month.

At the top of the range is Pro, which includes everything in the company's 3EX.NET package, from plug-ins and payments to CRM and financials. This is priced at £499 a month.

Finally there is Custom, which can include selected modules and functionality from the 3EX.NET suite to meet individual users' requirements, with a tailor-made commercial package.

Exact is also promoting a support package to help retailers optimise the performance of their web sites. It includes ongoing analysis, consultancy and recommendations in areas such as page rankings, meta content, adwords/keywords, pay-per-click, site usability, basket abandonment and load speed. It's called ACE ('for acquisition and conversion excellence').
