Spring 2008 The new Fulfilment & e.logistics web site We hope you like our brand new web site - our second major redesign since we set up our original e.logistics web site back in 2000.
The new-look Fulfilment & e.logistics web site includes about 80 per cent of the editorial content of each printed issue of the magazine, and in future will also include news updates circulated with our regular email newsletter, On Track & on Target, which goes to around 6,000 readers, and is available free on application. Advertisers Major changes. When you take a button advertisement in the right-hand column of our home page, this now also appears on every archived news page. That increases the number of pages on which you're seen from one to TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED! Of the 50,000 page views that we get per month, many are of individual news pages found in web searches, so being seen on these pages is a major boost to your exposure. Our two premium banner slots at the top of each page also continue to appear throughout the site (that includes all editorial pages). INLINE PROMOTIONAL SLOT We have introduced a BRAND NEW promotional/sponsor slot within our editorial columns (see above). Normally it falls half-way down the first screen of every news and feature story on the site - further up the page than you see it here. Currently that means around two and a half thousand pages, and it includes the pages of the current issue. Talk to Chris to find out how to take advantage of this valuable new position. Our history Our first web site, which complemented our original title, e.logistics Magazine, was launched soon after our first issue was published, back in 2000, and reflected the advanced design of the printed publication. When we relaunched in 2004 as Fulfilment & e.logistics, we redesigned our web site to coincide with the change. However, we're the first to admit that the revised site gradually fell slightly behind the times, and wasn't always as up to date as it should have been. All that is now in the past, and we're delighted to move forward into the latter part of the decade with a site that's in tune with the times.
