Tesco working with Interflora for online flower sales

Tesco Direct is to offer the entire Interflora range of fresh flowers for sale through an offshoot web site, www.tescofreshflowers.com. It price range starts at £19.99.

According to Interflora marketing director Michael Barringer: “We believe that this will be a very successful partnership between two leading brands.”

Interflora is considered the UK’s leading online florist, and is therefore well placed to offer this new flower delivery service.

Since 2008 the organisation has been part of the NASDAQ-listed United Online internet retailing specialist, which claims to have 60 million registered account. United is also a major player in specialised social networking sites in various markets.
