Habitat fulfils in UK and beyond with iForce
Home furnishing retailer Habitat is now selling online to customers both in the UK and continental, and has appointed iForce to handle fulfilment of both domestic and international orders. The operation involves the retailer’s home accessories range, is understood to be the first for iForce to include cross-border fulfilment. iForce is running the operation from its 63,000 square ft shared facility at Bromford Gate, Birmingham, where it is stocking several thousand home accessory stock-keeping units, which are replenished from Habitat’s warehouse in Wallingford. iForce is also providing Habitat with a returns processing service for UK orders. Where possible, items are recovered via Royal Mail Freepost, but collections are arranged for large items. While Habitat handles French returns at the company’s local warehouse in Cergy, France, iForce will fulfil the replacement items where requested. Sitel, an existing iForce partner, is providing multilingual customer services for both telephone and email enquiries from its call centre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
